History of Geeoo Trading Company

It was rare to find high-quality products in the market at that time and then the traditional market for low-quality products continued. Bangladeshi consumers were deprived of all the latest inventions in the world.

In 2009, for the first time, AWEI brand started its activities as officially national distribution in Bangladesh through Mr. K.M. Rashal. Which is the first of any mobile accessories brand to start their activities legally. Which later inspired other brands to come to Bangladesh officially.

Rashal chose to make a risky move into the nascent world of Mobile Accessories in Bangladesh Marketplace. Rashal quit his lucrative job to open Jannat Telecom. In the months leading up to launch, a few employees began developing mobile accessories and gadget items with Rashal.

Mahbub Alam joined the company in 2012 as Head of Sales. Until then, the Sundarbans market was the only commercial market for mobile accessories and gadgets. Then Motalib Plaza expanded its reputation as a market for mobile accessories and gadgets.

At that time in Bangladesh, only 3 markets in Dhaka (Sundarban Square Super Market, Dhaka Underground/patal Market, and Motalib Plaza) could meet the demand for mobile accessories all over Bangladesh. Wholesalers from all over the country used to come to Dhaka to buy goods.
